So this morning I took some time to play with my ALTAIR 8800. This time, the primary boot loader has been loaded into a PROM (so I do not have to enter the ~20 bytes of machine code at cold start). Also, few discs images were used, loaded from the PC, so some apps can be demonstrated. The more I use it, the more I love it. It also allows me to put modern stuff into perspective.
