I enjoyed the Intel Edison and its Arduino-footprint compatible breakout board for a while now – though it cannot boot the Windows mini kernel. But I was looking for something much smaller for a test I am performing these days. Therefore, I ordered an Edison with a mini breakout board. With a ~ 6 x 3 cm footprint, it is perfect. On the same package, I can get in addition to the CPU some memory, a Wi-Fi module, as well as few basic connectors and headers. Since I have the chance to have all the currently available Intel boards, I thought that it would be interesting to show them one next to the other. Next update will be once I’ve put my hands on a Curie module 🙂
