I could not resist affront The New Annotated H.P. Lovecraft. First, because I enjoyed reading the Cthulhu chronicles when I was young, as well as playing with my friends The Call of Cthulhu, a good alternate our all times favorite AD&D. Second, because the book is really well made and is beautiful. Even the cover has a velvety touch. But most importantly, the annotations are a real treasure that sheds new light – at least to me – on Lovecraft’s stories. Really a nice surprise, and a pleasure to re-read some of my favorite stories.
