It is the time of the year when I used to pay a visit to the Oregon International Airshow with my buddy Chris. Covid-19 threw a wrench into our well-oiled ritual, and I could not go check out the pilots and their birds this year (2022). What a bummer. It is even worse, as this year had a fantastic all-female lineup of U.S. Navy pilots. I wish to be able to visit the show next year and that these amazing pilots – and many more – will give us the honor of meeting with us.

I am reproducing pictures taken by Petty Officer 2nd Class Sara Eshleman, Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron 3 (HSC 3). In the images I borrowed, we can see Lt. Amanda Graham and Lt. Alex Rasche, helicopter pilots igniting the aviation passion in visitors!

In the meantime, I am sharing my pics of a friendly dragonfly I spotted in our garden 😊.
