My WE started in a hectic way (see my other post of the day). However, I am happy to share some excellent news, with you. Geoffrey S. Quickfall has released the English version of the SHARP PC-1300S. You may recall that I presented mine in 2016 here. Geoff, who you may know as an airline pilot, a Hewlett-Packard aficionado/expert, and a contributor to the HHC conferences, made a fantastic translation/adaptation of the Japanese version of the manual. He kindly accepted, and I made it available in my blog. Merci, for this significant contribution to the community, Geoff!

Jamel kindly copied the entire Japanese manual into JPEG for me from a yellowed manual. That is not easy and very time consuming. If it weren’t for him, there would be no English version.

The result is awesome and I could not have dreamt of having such a good manual for my PC-1300S. I have tried to translate previously the section related to the card reader operation and the result is nowhere near the quality of Geoff’s translation and editing.
