Yesterday, I found myself reminiscing about a quirky little project I started a few years back: the Banana Art Initiative. Yes, you read that right—it’s all about transforming a humble banana into a fleeting masterpiece! Given the ephemeral nature of bananas (a well-sliced one has, let’s say, a very short shelf life), capturing each creation in a photo is highly recommended to preserve their glory.
Today, I’m sharing a few of my epic creations with you! However, as a self-proclaimed founder of this bold new art movement, I’ll admit I’ve been more of an avant-garde loner than a revolutionary leader. My only partner in crime? Chris is the sole acolyte of Banana Art, whose work I am also proud to showcase here. So, now that the secret’s out, will you join us? Show me your best Banana Art, and if it passes the rigorous critique of our Banana Bureau, I’ll proudly share it!

Your idea is more peaceful than this one, that I just crossed the other day 🙈

Poor bananas, pretty hatch treatment. It’s an interesting variation upon the lemon juice invisible ink 😁
Are … are … you … electrocuting the banana? 🙂
Only a little! I gave it a mild zap—just enough to turn it into a shocking potassium experiment! Now, it’s my current favorite snack, perfect for when I need a little jolt of energy.
A just reprisal for being radioactive! 😉
(But be aware of the danger of turning into some kind of superhero, when eating zapped & radioactive fruit.)
