If you live in Portland Oregon, you may have enjoyed having breakfast or dinner at the Veritable Quandary. After 30 years, the place closed permanently in September. Luckily, the staff has been hired by the owners of the Q restaurant – just a few blocks away – with many of their signature dishes. We visited the newly opened place today, and we were delighted. The food was fantastic as well as the service. The ambiance is slightly different – less pub-ish and a bit more upscale – but it really feels as we didn’t lose the VQ after all. I wish a similar success to the Q team!
