When I moved from France to Oregon a decade ago, I had a cultural shock. It took me some time to adapt from my life in the 5th district of the City of Light to the suburbs of Portland. One particular aspect that won me over is the beauty of Oregon’s nature and the Pacific northwest. Sure, it’s hard to summarize the beauty of a place in a single picture, but sometimes, you have the chance to capture a moment such as the one I am sharing here. Now that I deeply love both countries, I don’t feel lost anymore, I feel richer.
